Counselor Hany Hamouda (founder and managing partner)


Holds a degree in 1990 and joined the work of the public prosecution and the judiciary in 1993 and until 2014 while embarked on the establishment of Hamouda law firm.

He served several judicial offices:

  • 2010 - 2014 He was an adviser at Court of Appeal Cairo one of the specialized departments in commercial an tax disputes, a higher circle Court of Appeal Cairo consider all whether corporate tax disputes or individuals with general taxes and sales taxes interest, as well as customs issues.
     
  • 2008 - 2010 He was appointed as a judge of first instance at one of Tanta's civil prosecution.
     
  • 2005 - 2012 He was mandated to work as legal consultant to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and appointed as a member of the Supreme Advisory Committee for the development of petroleum and mining legislation and during that period, he contributed to the development of legal solutions and future perceptions to overcome all obstacles  investment in the petroleum sector by introducing the legal problems that were concerning the work of the foreign partner with the Egyptian Petroleum Authority represented by the holding companies or the government, as the stock through his work in that Committee in a draft new Code of Mineral Resources recently released in 2014 by the President of the Republic.
     
  • 1997 – 2008 He was deputy of the Attorney General and head of the Supreme State Security Prosecution, and during that period he took over the investigation and disposition and pleading in many of the most prominent public cases. Such as the case of "Luxor massacre Bahari in 1997," and many of the Muslim Brotherhood, Islamic Jihad and the Islamic Group cases, and the case of "Al-Azhar bombings and Abdel Moneim Riad square in 2005" and also "Sharm El-Sheikh, Dahab and Taba bombings in the period from 2004 to 2006," as well as the famous case of the "Egyptian spy to Israel Mohammed al-Attar," the case of "carcinogenic pesticides Ministry of Agriculture Youssef Abdul Rahman, "The case of bribe former Giza governor Maher Elgendy, " the case of" Ayman Nour, forging a power of attorney"( Ghad Party) , the case of" bribe former director of  Minister of the Culture Farouk Hosni office, "and many more cases.
     
  • He lectured to the new prosecutors in several training sessions at the National Center for Judicial Studies in the field of terrorism and the Code of Criminal Procedure.                                                                                             
  • Participated in the Egyptian seminar held in Siracusa - Italy-1997 which dedicated to the discussion of Egypt's membership of the International Criminal Court and international judicial cooperation agreements to provide judicial assistance and extradition.
